Practical Advice

When selecting your size, please note the generous cut of this garment. It is specifically designed to be worn as an 'over garment'. If you intend to wear this over a heavy winter parka, your standard size should suffice; however, if it is to be worn over a simple t-shirt or polo, you may find the fit particularly roomy.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility properties and ensure the longevity of the reflective tapes, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the adhesive bond of the 3M Scotchlite material and impact the vibrancy of the fluorescent dye.

Bleaching must be avoided at all costs. The chemicals in bleach will strip the fluorescent pigments from the polyester and destroy the reflective qualities of the safety tapes, rendering the vest non-compliant with safety standards.

Do not iron this garment. The high heat of an iron will melt the synthetic polyester fibres and permanently damage both the reflective tapes and any applied print or embroidery. Similarly, tumble drying and dry cleaning should be avoided to prevent mechanical and chemical stress from compromising the garment's safety certifications.
